25 Paleo Christmas Recipes (for an Amazing Holiday!) (1)

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the homemade gifts, the traditions, and (of course) the food!

My family leans more toward a paleo diet (and I eat AIP), so many traditional Christmas foods are out. Luckily, there are lots of paleo holiday dishes that are just as good as the ones I remember eating as a kid.

If you are looking for paleo Christmas recipes, these are for you!

Making the holidays healthy is easy with these paleo Christmas recipes. From holiday brunch to a full Christmas dinner, there’s something for everyone here.

Paleo Breakfast

Christmas morning is a special time in our house. There’s always a lot going on and I don’t want to miss a thing. Having something easy to pop in the oven for breakfast is a must. And these paleo Christmas recipes fit the bill.

Sheet Pan Breakfast Bake with Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts, and Bacon – Begin the day with savory veggies, eggs, and bacon. You’ll love not having to spend a lot of time prepping or cleaning up piles of dishes, too.

Paleo Cranberry Orange Scones – There’s something comforting about the combination of cranberry and orange. These high-protein paleo scones make for a delightful Christmas morning treat.

Kale & Garlic Frittata – Kick off Christmas morning with some fresh greens. This paleo frittata recipe makes for another simple and nutritious breakfast option.

Paleo Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake – The sweet aroma of coconut sugar and cinnamon will fill your home when you make these. I love this fresh take on a Christmas classic.

Don’t forget to make a batch of dairy-free coffee creamer to share with your guests as well. These simple paleo breakfast recipes will make your Christmas morning memories even sweeter.

Paleo Appetizer Recipes

Some people skip the big Christmas dinner for appetizer parties instead. These paleo Christmas appetizer recipes will indeed have your mouth watering!

Easy Keto Deviled Eggs – As a homesteader, I love using eggs in a variety of holiday dishes. This recipe is paleo-approved and has some flavorful topping ideas, too.

Instant Pot BBQ Meatballs – These paleo meatballs are simple to make and perfect for a holiday party.

AIP Garlic & Herb Stuffed Mushrooms – These stuffed mushrooms sound fancy. Yet, they are actually quite simple to make with just a few fresh, wholesome ingredients.

Healthy Spinach Artichoke Dip – Another classic appetizer turned healthy. This dairy-free, paleo spinach artichoke dip looks delicious.

Easy Instant Pot Shrimp co*cktail – This recipe shows you how to cook shrimp to perfection in an Instant Pot. Serve alongside the paleo-friendly co*cktail sauce for a tasty appetizer option.

Will appetizers be your main event or set the stage for Christmas dinner? Either way, these paleo Christmas recipes would make perfect additions to any holiday menu.

Paleo Christmas Dinner Recipes

Recreate your favorite holiday dinner dishes to fit your paleo lifestyle. Here are several ideas to get you started.

Savory Roast Turkey – Marjoram and tarragon in this paleo roast turkey recipe add a grounding flavor to this main course.

Easy Instant Pot Eye of Round Roast – A filling roast is another traditional option you might choose. This Instant Pot recipe makes quick work of this main course, too.

Rosemary Garlic Keto Pork Tenderloin – Make Christmas flavorful with garlic and rosemary. I love including homegrown herbs in my holiday cooking.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Cauliflower with Bacon – Need a paleo option of mashed potatoes? Garlic, cauliflower, coconut cream, bacon, and scallions make a delicious substitution.

Butternut Squash Soup – This is one of my favorite soups and almost always makes the list for Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner. I love serving soup since it’s unexpected but so good!

Healthy Sweet Potato Casserole – Sweet potato casserole is another holiday favorite. This recipe uses unsweetened applesauce for natural sweetness.

Paleo Dessert Recipes

On to the best part of Christmas (for adults)—dessert! Here are a few ideas to get you thinking about the healthy sweet treats you’ll want to make this season.

Almond Flour Sugar Cookies – These paleo sugar cookies are grain-free and full of healthy fats from the almond meal and coconut flour base. I love that these offer a healthy way for the kids to have fun with our Christmas cookie cutters, too.

Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies – I love how similar these are to the old favorite while still being much healthier.

I had a hard time choosing only a handful of recipes to include here. The possibilities for paleo Christmas desserts are endless and they all look too good to be true!
