How do I know what case fits my iPad? ›

With so many generations of iPad in existence today, ranging from the iPad mini 1 to the iPad Pro 9.7, it can be difficult to know what size case to buy for your device. To buy the correct size case, you will need to measure your iPad by hand or use the model number to find the dimensions online.

A: The case protects the whole device itself, that is the screen and the back part of it. The cover only protects the screen, thus it's name, it covers the screen but does not protect the whole device.

If your iPad doesn't wake and sleep when you open and close the cover, go to Settings > Display & Brightness and turn on Lock/Unlock.

Won't own an iPad without an otterbox

I've had many iPads and I refuse to buy one without an otterbox to protect it. This case protects the iPad from being damaged from drops (I have dropped my ipads many times). The only times I've had damage is when I don't have it in an otterbox. Well worth the price.
