How to Make Melt In Your Mouth Roast in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Have you tried our Crock Pot Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken or Crock Pot Pork Chops – Melt In Your Mouth recipes? They are super simple and give you flavorful meat that seriously melts in your mouth. We love them around our house, so I wanted to try this with some beef. This Melt In Your Mouth Crock Pot Roast is just as wonderful as the rest in this series!
We made a couple of easy sides to go with our roast and had an amazing dinner the whole family loved! I love that I could throw it together in 5 minutes or less in the morning, have my house smelling wonderful all day long and then have a no muss, no fuss dinner that evening! It really does not get much better than that when you want to enjoy a wonderful dinner around the table with your family after a long day!
What You Will Need
Ingredients Needed
- 2.5 beef roast
- 12 oz jar beef gravy
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Equipment Needed
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoon
- 4 quart slow cooker
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes or less
- Cooking Time: 8 to 10 hours on low (I do not recommend cooking on high. When using a slow cooker to cook beef, cooking on low will give you the most tender outcome. If you cook on high, you will not get the best results.)
