When I think of the Grand Floridian Resort, I always think of Mary Poppins. Why?
Disney’s The Grand Floridians resort is a turn of the century grand resort.
This Disney Resort reminds you of the movie Mary Poppins. The elegance and charm of Bert and Mary riding the carousel, dressed in their finest attire.
Mary Poppins can be seen from time to time at the Grand Floridian. Keep an eye out for here, you might spot her as you are sipping afternoon tea!
Grand Floridian Resort
Elegance is what comes to mind when you think of the Grand Floridian Resort. The Grand Floridian was built in the year, the Grand Floridian is a very popular resort.

Disney weddings are held at the Grand Floridian Resort. The elegance of this Walt Disney Resort is the perfect backdrop for Disney Weddings!

1900 Park Fare
The 1900 Park Fare is a restaurant inside Grand Floridian Resort. What makes the 199 Park Fare unique is that it is a buffet, but also a character buffet.
For breakfast, you usually see Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Poo, and of course, Mary Poppins. However, for dinner, the wicked stepsisters and mother come out to play with the people. Also at this character meal, you will see a princess, Cinderella!
The 1900 Park Fare has a wonderful buffet. This strawberry soup is the best. If you want pure magical Disney food, you need to try the strawberry soup at this Disney resort!

Ingredients
- 2 lb strawberries (frozen variety, thawed with juice)
- 16 oz. heavy cream
- 2 oz. sour cream
- 3 oz. plain yogurt
- 8 oz. fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Mix the first four ingredients.
- Beat slowly until well mixed and smooth consistency.
- Chill; shake well before serving.
- Add fresh strawberries as garnish.
