The Chat Together feature on your Samsung TV lets you communicate with friends in chat rooms while watching your favorite shows together. You can chat by sending preset messages, emojis, or even your voice with Voice-to-Text. You can also join chat rooms using your Galaxy phone.
Note: Chat Together is available on 2023 Samsung TVs. Some settings may not be available depending on your service provider.
Use the Chat Together feature
To start using Chat Together, you’ll need to select the notification on your TV screen that appears when you’re watching a program. From there, you can chat by typing with your remote or using Voice-to-Text. You can also connect your phone and type using your phone’s keyboard.
Select a program you’d like to watch. Then, using the right directional button on your TV’s remote, select the Chat Together notification on the right side of your screen. The chat room will open, and you can begin chatting using the remote.
If you’d like to use your voice to chat, simply press the Microphone button on your remote and begin speaking. This will enable the Voice-to-Text feature.
You can use Chat Together on your phone as well. Make sure your phone is logged in to the same Samsung account as your TV, and then scan the displayed QR code using your phone. Then, you can chat with your friends on your TV using your phone’s keyboard.
To adjust the notification settings for Chat Together on your TV, navigate to your Chat Together Profile, and then select Notification Settings.
